
<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Hi all,<br><br>Recently I created a wireless OSC/MIDI sync setup on PD for Concordia Laptop Orchestra (inspired by David Ogborn's work with the McMaster Cybernetic Orchestra), which may be of interest to others who are looking for a fairly accessible way to make beat-based music with a laptop ensemble.<div><br></div><div>The tools include a master metronome, and a step sequencer which allows creating and performing beats with sampled sounds in real time as well as converting the OSC-based metronome to the more standard MIDI sync (therefore allowing typical widely-used sequencers on the same wireless sync setup). When configured patiently, this setup proved to be extremely stable.</div><div><br></div><div><div>Here's a fairly straight-forward video tutorial on how to set such a network connection up and how to use these tools.<br><a href="http://youtu.be/liqOkAEEUL0">http://youtu.be/liqOkAEEUL0</a><br><br>Let me know what you think.<br><br>Cheers<br>Eldad</div></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></body></html>
