Concordia University’s Music Department this Friday at 14:15, room 8.245 (EA
classroom).<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Behrens’s work is focused on field-recording trips to remote corners of the world, concrete electronic music, installations, and social
art work, as well as photograph and video.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">He is visiting Montreal to present his pieces <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Queendom</i>;<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:
normal"> Sleppet(2–3) Avalanches, Water and Stones</i>; and <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Sleppet (4) Glacier and Irregular Characters</i>
at the <b>Akousma 8</b> festival (October 15<sup>th</sup> at Usine C).</p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Among other things, he also recently produced the upcoming
compilation DEGEM CD 10 "Replace" for the German Association of Electroacoustic
