Hexagram for a lunchtime presentation on the Concordia Laptop
Orchestra (CLOrk) by Hexagram Associate Researcher Eldad
Tsabary.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span
style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New
Roman","serif";">Eldad’s presentation will
introduce the guiding artistic and educational
principles in directing the new Concordia Laptop Orchestra in
the context of
other laptop orchestras in Canada and abroad, touching upon
issues of
composition, orchestration, conduction, performance, audience,
technology,
interface uniformity (or not), and individual expression. Recent
and upcoming
telematic and networked performances will be presented.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span
style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New
Roman","serif";">Everyone is welcome to attend.
Light refreshments will be provided, and
you are welcome to bring your own lunch.</span></p>
