The Digital Media Student Association is pleased to announce the opening of the

annual Computation Arts exhibition on May 3rd, 2005.

"Computed" is a showcase of students’ work in the unique Computation Arts
program (formerly know as Digital Image/Sound and the Fine Arts) at Concordia
University. displayed works include responsive environments, 3D Animations, Web

and multimedia work, Computation pieces and Live audiovisual performances.

This works displayed in this event are a fusion of art and technology,
resulting with hybrid creations that examine the infinite possibilities
available for artists to express themselves using new technologies. These works

will show that technology can be both a medium and an inspiration.

Computed is another step on the road of introducing Electronic arts as a new
and
established domain, and is a unique opportunity to introduce the audience with
a different experience and expose them to new methods in art practice.
